Dr. Mike Boyette was named a 2019 University Outstanding Teacher.

Biological Engineering senior Kaitlin Perkins was awarded the College of Engineering Citizenship and Service Award

The Rally in Raleigh was a success! 

Dr. Bill Hunt delivered the inaugural seminar at the Stormwater Seminar Series at the St. Lawrence Anthony Falls Laboratory.

Dr. Jason Ward spoke to WUNC on the challenges of internet access in rural North Carolina.

Ph.D. student Diplina Paul won the Student Oral Presentation Award at the Aquaculture 2019 conference.

Dr. Michael Burchell and Dr. Gary Roberson received a visit from CALS Dean Linton with the news of their promotion to professor.

BAE students teamed up with Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics student to design and build a mobile shellfish hatchery. 

PhD student Lise Montefiore was named an NC Sea Grant/WRRI fellow.

PhD student Alison Deviney was featured in a series on non-traditional students.

PhD student Brock Kamrath was named a winner of the annual WRRI Conference Student poster award winner.

Several faculty was featured in Resource Magazine magazine for recent NSF funding. 

PhD student Megan Boland was awarded the 2019 Sustainability Award. 
The BAE Sustainability Committee, led by Brittany Santore, received a grant to install vertical gardens and a bee hotel on campus.

Biological Engineering students capped off their year with their final Senior Design presentations. The Sustainability Office featured several projects in a story.

Students and Faculty were recognized at the 2019 Student Awards Banquet.

Four BAE Students presented their research at the NC State Undergraduate Research Symposium.

Dr. Natalie Nelson was featured in the Coastal Review Online for her and colleagues to better understand and improve water quality in the state after storm events.
