The Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering provides technical assistance and project support to faculty, students and staff. Our support services also provide fee-based assistance to the greater UNC System and state agencies.
Research Shop
Shop Supervisor
The BAE Research Shop is a research machine shop providing assistance to the department as well as external clients. Students are permitted to request assistance from the Research Shop with faculty authorization. Located in 130 Weaver Labs (919-515-6734).
Environmental Analysis Lab
Research staff analyst
The Environmental Analysis Lab is a waste management & water quality sample evaluation service which is used by the department and external clients. Students are permitted to request sample testing from this lab with faculty authorization. Located in 270A Weaver Labs (919-515-6766).
