Bio

Sarah is the Program Manager for the REFRAME Project at NC State University’s Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering. She brings over a decade of experience in academic and research library environments, where she specialized in project coordination, digital asset management, metadata systems, and knowledge infrastructure for complex, mission-driven initiatives. Prior to joining REFRAME, Sarah served as Project and Digital Asset Manager for a Google-funded initiative at NC State University Libraries, and spent eleven years at the National Humanities Center, where she rose to Director of Digital Services. In her role with REFRAME, she serves as the central coordination hub across the project’s research teams, partner institutions, and stakeholder networks. She holds a Master of Library Science from North Carolina Central University and a Master of Arts in English from Western Carolina University.
