Olivia Rogers

Bio

Olivia graduated from North Carolina State University in 2023 with a B.S. in English and a concentration in rhetoric. She was a freelance writer for Flourish Magazine for several years. As an undergraduate student, she was a communication intern for College of Agriculture and Life Sciences International Programs. Her writing focuses sustainability, developments in the agricultural sector and engineering solutions to grand challenges. Aside from her writing, she has experience in photo editing, videography, social media management and developing strategic communication plans.

She is passionate about translating scientific news into forms that are easily digestible for the people of North Carolina and beyond.

“As the public communication specialist for BAE, I assist by developing publications, maintaining the website, helping with public relations and heading video and photo development. I am very passionate about planning, designing and implementing campaigns that showcase the research and accomplishments of scientists and engineers,” Rogers says.
