The information below is provided for general information about the workshop.\u00a0Please reference the registration website for specific information about the individual workshop.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This 3-day workshop introduces concepts of\u00a0stream restoration using natural channel design techniques. Participants work in\u00a0small groups in the field to assess existing stream condition geomorphic conditions and develop reference reach design parameters. Participants work in small groups in the classroom to\u00a0apply morphological design\u00a0parameters to create a case study stream design for channel dimension, pattern, and profile. Design products include stream channel layouts, typical cross-sections,\u00a0and longitudinal profiles, and basic hydraulic and sediment transport\u00a0calculations.
