Who is your adviser and what are you studying?

I am working with Dr. Kolar and Dr. Classen on hydrothermal carbonization of swine manure for hydrochar production.

What first made you interested in this field?

I’ve wanted to contribute to a sustainable future since taking Environmental Science in high school, so BAE has always been a natural fit.

What do you like most about BAE, the department, Weaver labs?

The abundance of course options for graduate students!

What is a little known fact about you?

I was once in a metal band
